About Bernice
Hi, I am Bernice! I am a licensed and certified special education teacher and a Dyslexia Training Designee. I have been involved in the education field as a certified teacher, special ed para, and Title 1 instructional aide for 10 years. During my years working in the education field, I have come across many students that struggle with basic reading skills or have been diagnosed with dyslexia.
I started my after school tutoring to help give the extra support these students need in their reading skills. I want them to achieve their goal and succeed in becoming a confident reader.
I work with students on a 1:1 basis. This gives me the ability to focus more on each student's reading ability and to tailor to their academic needs.
