About Jennifer
I graduated from a local community college in August 2022 with an AS in natural (life) science, and an AA in social-behavioral sciences. I have always loved learning and going to school, but throughout my adulthood, life had other plans so it took extra time for me to get through college. Fortunately, thanks to my education benefits from the military, I finished two associates' degrees and I am currently in a certificate program related to my AA degree. I am also in the process of applying to nursing school to acquire my BSN degree. I was a military medic and currently work in the technician level of healthcare, so with that experience and the AS degree, I am well versed in biology/anatomy. As far as the non-sciences, history, social studies, and psychology have always been my other favorite subjects and I love studying them. I am proficient in English and reading, I have been reading at a college level since middle school so I never had to take a reading class. I even tested out of college reading. As for tutoring experience, it is mainly from assisting classmates or military peers during whichever training was taking place. I have been told over the years that I explain things well, and many people have asked if I am a teacher. Although I am not in that field, I enjoy explaining things and helping people understand what they are studying. If I can get them through, that is what matters most to me.
