About Stella

My name is Stella Oduardo, I am a Russian immigrant who comes from a Russian and Cuban background. My passion for learning began when I was accepted to Alexander D Henderson University School, in Boca Raton Florida. My bachelors degree is in biochemistry with a premed track. I recently relocated back from Seattle, WA, where I launched a beauty technology start up alongside Amazon executives and MIT scientists.

I believe my unique combination of strengths, including expertise in literature, essay writing, and social sciences, bilingual proficiency in Russian and English, effective teaching methods like mnemonics and brain games, experience with special needs children, and, most notably, my deep passion for shaping the minds of young children, collectively make me an exceptional candidate for any tutoring program. My dedication to education and nurturing critical thinking skills in young learners is a driving force that can significantly impact and enhance their learning experiences, making me a valuable asset to any tutoring program.

Working with me as a tutor is not only a delightful experience but also a seamless one for several compelling reasons. My teaching style incorporates mnemonic techniques and brain games, which infuse an element of enjoyment and interactivity into the learning process, ensuring that lessons are both engaging and memorable. With my comprehensive understanding of English and its grammatical rules, acquired through a rigorous program, I can explain complex concepts with clarity and precision, making learning easier for my students. Furthermore, being fluent in both Russian and English allows me to cater to a diverse range of students, addressing their language needs effectively and fostering a comfortable learning environment. Drawing from my experience with special needs children, I bring patience and adaptability to every session, tailoring my teaching methods to suit each student's unique needs and learning style. Most importantly, my genuine passion for spreading knowledge and nurturing critical thinking skills not only motivates my students but also makes the learning journey enjoyable, creating a positive and encouraging atmosphere in every tutoring session.
