About Brooke
Hi! I've been an educator in my 16th year. I've taight from kindergarten to fifth grade. I've taught all subjects: reading, math, science, social studies, and writing. My Bachelor's Defree is in elementary education and my Masters Degree is in Educational Leadership, I'm certified to teach K-8 and hold both my ESOL & Reading Endorsements. I've tutored off and on for 16 years when there has been a need. In my current position I teach eighty-two 5th grade students in the area of reading. I enjoy working with students and making learning come to life. I feel that it is important to help students understand the "why" as to what they're learning and how it's going to help them as an individual as they go forward. I also feel that empathy and humor go hand in hand for all students.
