About Cortney

I love helping people understand health and fitness. I create individual programs around Yoga, Movement and Flexibiliy, and Neuroplasty (mind and body). I provide assistance in understanding and balancing nutrition.

I love seeing the look on someone's face when they start to see progress. Progess comes in many forms. It may be that one wants to increase strength, or lose inches. It's the journey (progress), the destination (goal), and the satifaction from one that gives me the ultimate bliss. This is why I do what I do for a living.

I've always been a teacher or leader in one way or another. I love to help people be better and understand life. Its my passion!

I have 20 years as a National Certified Pharmacy Technician. I have 16 years, (on and off) of yoga workouts. Over the past 2 years, I've worked on myself and my health, learning around every obstacle. I am a Certified Personal Trainer. I am currently expanding my knowledge into Quantum Yoga, Yoga Trapeze, and Neuroplasty.

About the lesson

Ask key questions about their health, life, sleep, etc. Find out their short and long term goals. Find out any needs, wants or desires one wishes to obtain along the journey.

I have worked with Ectomorphs (lean and long, with difficulty building muscle) to Endomorphs (big, high body fat, with a high tendency to store body fat); older generation to younger generation; flexibility to strength.

When looking for a teacher, make sure they are NCAA accredited. There are five main companies for this accreditation. Ask for credentials.

They will ask questions to get to know oneself, make sure you're honest with oneself. They should be asking about ones health conditions, exercise experience, goals, sleep, nutrition, addictions and ones work habits (sedentary or active). They should be filling out paperwork and keeping it secure.

Ask about security measures. Ones privacy it upmost importance. I run a VPN on all my smart devices with encryptions and long, difficult, and rotating passwords.

When working with a neuroplasty client, they were able to progress from right brain to left brain exercises and the talk test easily. We were very proud of their success.

Ask for website so you can research them. (You can ask for references, but a lot of people like having their privacy kept private. Some will allow to post on the internet of success but will not allow an unknown person to call them out of the blue for a reference. People are very private for very obvious reasons.)

My standard pricing is $40/hour for one person, and $20 each additional person, up to 4 people maximum.

Driving to ones residence will add aditional money per mile and time driving.
