What I enjoy and love most is when a person creates their own “light bulb” moment, when a solution or transformative moment is sparked, and that person’s life is made better forever...by something THEY thought for themselves. It’s my role to give confidence to their voice that was there the whole time, it just needed space and encouragement to speak and then act and then become their new reality.

Prayer is powerful in this way, as we activate our faith and trust more deeply in the One Who gave us life and freedom to begin with. I love praying for people.

Teaching began for me almost 30 years ago in my local church, when I was teaching our youth. Loved it right away and it prompted me to get a teaching degree.

Like most of us, we find a skill that comes naturally to us, as well as something that becomes a passion for us to share about. Teaching and coaching (helping people) always provided that rewarding feeling of making a positive difference in others’ lives. I love it.

Institute for Integrative Nutrition NY grad (Holistic Health/Life Coaching); Home Health Recovery Coach for X10; Purdue University Bachelor’s Degree in Education (teacher for 7 yrs); Group Exercise Instructor for 12+ yrs.

Life experience has taught me a lot as well (I’m almost 50!), and I’ve lost 35 unhealthy pounds in a safe, natural, healthy way, without chemicals or diet products. Lots of research, trial and error, real foods and real exercise, finding my way and still having chocolate! My role as coach is helping people find what works best for them and making sure they follow through on their choices.

It’s my nature to encourage, educate, and empower people, because I truly have empathy for those who are suffering, struggling and stressed out. That was my life for too many years until a transformation took place that changed everything. I found peace and a new way to live, and want to share with others what helped me most.

About the lesson

First contact is a Discovery Call, about a 30-minute 2-way interview to see if we would work well together as Client and Coach. It’s a casual conversation, a regular phone call or video call. My direct number is (concealed information), text or call, or FaceTime/ Skype.

I want to know what your main healthy lifestyle goals are, as well as what your frustrations have been, and what you’ve been longing to change, improve, achieve. You can ask me any questions you have, we can explore options that would support you best, then we can decide to begin working together. I don’t believe in “holding” onto people indefinitely... I’m not like that. We can work together on a short-term program, 7 - 8 weeks long. If you want, you can extend.

It’s best to invest in yourself to get the action steps and accountability you need to move forward. If not me as your coach, find someone else. My concern for people is that they get FREE from whatever is holding them back from their best life. If I can serve you, great! Would be honored to.

Most recently, I’ve been working with women who are interested in losing burdensome extra weight while also wanting to build and maintain their strength as they age. I also help those who battle with destructive or negative mindsets, to overcome by powerfully speaking truth. Another group I help coach are people healing and recovering from invasive surgeries that cause a lot of pain & suffering physically and emotionally.

As a student or client looking for a teacher / coach, ask lots of open-ended, high-mileage questions, just as your potential teacher might ask you. Get to know what drives them, ask about who & what inspires them, and how & why they are going to support you in achieving your goals.

Recently, I had a client who stated at the beginning of our time together that she was going to be a “rock star client,” and do everything that was asked of her so that she could amaze people and be an inspiration to others. And wouldn’t you know it.. words and beliefs are very powerful. She did exactly what she set out to do. I find that the most successful people have this powerful mindset, and it drives them forward to any goal they have.
