About Alessandro
Born in Rome, I started my restaurant in the Eternal City in 2010, I Porchettoni is the name. My restaurant was featured by The Layover in Rome with the Late Anthony Bourdain and Food Paradise International for the Porchetta, an ancient gourmet roast pork who dates back to Aeneas. Now I’m in Miami ready to start my roman food truck in order to spread the tradion of roman cuisine. With me you won’t learn how to prepare nouvelle cuisine dishes, I gladly leave that to french. In Rome we like to eat a lot! What you’ll learn is the Italian tradition, the art of cooking in 15 minutes a pasta dish, authentic roman recipes, how to distinguish fake Italian cheese from real, a whole journey into food and a millenary culture.
