About Margie

I have passed a successful state background check to test and work with students. I am always professional and adhere to deadlines. I use a positive approach to teach students to learn new work.

As mentioned, I spent many years in school myself so wish to impart my knowledge to others. I am patient and caring and am rated highly by most students and their families.

About the lesson

METHODOLOGY:
I begin my sessions assessing where you are, what you wish to accomplish and what subject areas you wish to learn. For students enrolled in K-12 classes, I often collaborate with classroom teachers when requested, to ensure learning expands on current curriculum
or writing tutoring I have you write on a topic and then teach you how to edit the information.

EXPERIENCE:
I have professionally tutored students since 2021, generally traveling to their homes, but also have worked online. I have a doctorate in Educational Psychology and taught students in various subjects for more than twenty years. In the past, I taught and administered programs at the University of Minnesota, Adler Graduate School and the University of Illinois. I also assisted with testing in K-12 academic assessments in Minnesota.
