About Jacob
I tutor students interested in Web Design/Web Development. I use the coaching method to push students towards their goals by demonstrating examples of the work for them. I tutored all throughout elementary school through high school. I essentially learned as I went along as to how to tutor. I am planning on becoming a certified tutor as soon as possible.
Short answer: no. But I do have transferrable skills like coaching/mentoring.

I will demonstrate the work first, and coach them (ask questions that require some thought or some critical thinking to answer) so that they may come to the exact conclusion they need to get to on their own. Just like math is exact, science is precise.
I've worked with all kinds of students. Some of them were from the special education portion of my school and the school next door to my high school, some of them weren't special education students. I have helped people overcome their learning disabilities some of the time and I plan on getting the education I need to become a teacher.
