About Tracy
A long time love of horses plus a desire to make horseback riding lessons affordable for all children who want to ride! I love horses and adore kids. I coached my now 20 year old daughter to many local, state and regional wins. As a junior rider myself, then an adult amateur rider, I won many year end awards. I began teaching in 1998 and continue to ride and teach. I love finding the right teaching style for every student.
I started teaching for an old trainer of mine, and just continued from there. I honed my skills by tailoring each lesson to the student/s I am teaching.
I have a MS in Psychology and 48 years of riding. I've taught for 22 years.

Evaluation is key - listening to the parent tell me what they have done and then having the student tell me. We discuss goals - do you want to ride to have fun - do you want to show - do you want to learn more about horsemanship? Then we align goals to horse and rider and get started.
All kinds! 5 years old to 65! Adults starting back who used to ride, fearful adults, up-down students and more! I have worked with students who are handicapable and students on the spectrum.
Find a teacher who shared your drive and ambition - regardless of how small or big you want to go!
Holiday parties with my kids are a blast! We play games and hang out and enjoy parents and kid time. We let kids jump over fences and time them and just enjoy being family.
