About Denita

I offer basic beginner horsemanship personal lessons using my horses at my stables as well as private/group lessons at students facility.

I am working on several equine certifications and currently hold a certification in health, diseases, nutrition, and equine massage. We also offer boarding at our facility. Check us out at (concealed information)

I've loved working with horses since I was a child. Sharing that passion with others is something that gives me joy. Seeing people begin to understand and bond with a horse is almost magical! When I work with a horse - be-it training, nutrition, or massage and see the response and benefits as a result is very rewarding!

When I worked in the corporate environment for 30 years, I taught adults various computer software classes. Some of these students had never touched a keyboard or mouse! I really enjoy sharing knowledge and helping folks to reach their needs and goals. Also, I own a boarding stable and people have been asking me to teach them, so I'm now offering this service both at my facility with my horses or traveling to the student and their own horse.

Certified in Equine Health and Diseases, Nutrition for the Performance Horse, and Equine Massage. I've taking equine courses with the ultimate goal of having an Associate Degree in Stable Management.

About the lesson

Learn their skill level. What they would like to learn during our sessions. Once the interview occurs, I design a curriculum for that student or group of students.

Children 10+ as well as novice adults. I don't teach specific disciplines, just basic horsemanship and riding.

My first full body equine massage and the relief seen in my subject horse who suffers from severe arthritis! There was so much release and he he felt so much better he was running and bucking with relief when I put him back in the pasture. THIS is so rewarding!

Also, training my 1 1/2 year old filly!
