About Jamie
Hi! My name is Jamie Taylor. I would say I'm a advanced equestrian at Western riding, I showed for many years , Ive barrel races, done gym khana, miles and miles of trail, Ive even done cow sorting and was raced on a cattle ranch in Oregon. I am no expert at English riding or flat saddle riding of any sort, I'm strictly western. I've been riding for about 45 years of my life. I have. Great passion for horses and would love to pass on some of my knowledge to any one wanting to learn.
I teach from the ground up starting with horse care, and safety. After we've mastered this we move on to
grooming , tacking up and up in the saddle. I have 2 horses 1 is in training and one is a pro, he will be used as the lesson horse, if you don't have your own. I have a round pen and miles and miles or trails to ride which I will be riding along to give you confidence and teach you how to be alert and safe in the desert this will be at the end part of the course depending on your ability. Not only are you going to learn horsemanship but your going to learn to ride and gain so much confidence and life long friend. So come on out let's have some fun. I do hour and half private lessons And recommend 6 lessons to get through the first phase.
