About Megan

I am a fully credentialed teacher in the Social Sciences and I have experience tutoring in all subjects with middle school and high school students. I also have experience tutoring middle school and high school students in all subjects.

I pride myself on being professional, flexible, patient and empathetic.

I believe my main purpose as a tutor is to support the student in their academic success and I will go above and beyond to help students achieve their goals!

I have a passion for helping others and supporting them in reaching in their goals!

I completed my degree in the social sciences at Cal Poly Pomona, as well as my teaching credential program. I completed student teaching in the Upland USD and have taught for two years in Santa Clarita for the Hart UHSD.

I have been a public educator for three years and have a California teaching credential in the Social Sciences. I have experience tutoring middle school and high school students in all subjects.

About the lesson

During our first meeting, we can establish a few goals for the student and expectations for each meeting. Then we make a game plan for future meetings so I can plan how to best support the new client.

I have worked with high performing students, students from the special education population (especially those with learning disabilities), and students in low socio-economic areas.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
1. What are three goals you want to achieve with my help? (It might help to make a couple of short term goals and a long term goal)

2. What special needs do you have, if any?

3. I am here to help, not to judge. My soul purpose is to help you succeed!
