About Amanda
I am a college student in NC working to become a high school teacher, and feel that offering online tutoring will help me later on when I begin to student teach as part of my program. I have a deep grasp of U.S. and World history, as well as Greek and Roman Myth if help is needed there. I am willing to work with students of all ages, even in college regardless of major.
I am currently a Junior at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, working to become a Secondary School History teacher. As I will have to do a semester of student teaching at the end of my senior year, I feel that one-on-one tutoring with struggling students will benefit both myself and the student.

I want to get a general grasp of what students already know. Generally, especially with history, the struggle it putting events to dates and knowing the significance of said events. I plan to work mostly online with my students so I want to be able to give them as many resources as they can.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Students should come into a tutoring session with a general list of questions they need to be answered. This can include further explaining a portion of history, like its significance or why it occurred; ideas or laws that were created because of an event, etc.

My pricing will be based on two things: the grade level/ age of the student, and how long we are going to work (hourly or daily). I am willing to negotiate depending on the student's needs and the family's financial situation.
