About Michelle

I provide students with all the tools necessary to succeed in the classroom. AP US History students will receive a wealth of resources, including powerpoints, outlines, review sheets, etc. Students being tutored in regular history will also receive guided notes and Powerpoints on whatever topic we are studying. Students who are being tutored in writing will receive a writing guide to which they can refer and use for assignments.

I love working with students and seeing them progress academically. It is rewarding to contribute to the success of another individual.

I have been working as a US history educator for the past 7 years. In addition, I've tutored students at the high school and college level.

About the lesson

The first thing that is important to do with a new student is get to know them. In order for students to learn, they must feel known, seen, and heard. Students need to feel comfortable with whom they are working with, and thus it is important to establish a good rapport prior to delving into the academics.
