About Mimi
I can help with a range of subjects, I have a Bachelors of Science degree in Psychology from Portland State University. I also can help students excel in their Advanced Placement (AP) and honors classes; such as AP Psychology, AP U.S. History, Anatomy and Physiology, and AP Literature and Language. I am an excellent proofreader for high school papers and have a large background in writing research papers.
I love helping students discover things in a new light or even something completely new to them that created a fire within them-- whether it be through the power of writing or the wonders of science.
I have worked as a tutor at an elementary school teaching ESL students reading comprehension and grammar. I have also recenlty completed college and have the energy and devotion to learning that makes others want to learn.

Figuring out which aspects of their subject or homework they are struggling in and working together to find a process that works best for the student! It has been proven that students have differing processes of learning and understanding new information, so figuring out your students preferred learning process is an excellent start on the path to success.
