About Jazmin
Academic Experience:
I am a Political Science graduate with a concentration in International Relations. I have taken Education courses to learn effective teaching methods, study habits and how to instruct English Second Language learners.
Applied Experiences:
At the Boys and Girls Club of Winston Salem, I have worked with ESL students using alternative methods such as Total Physical Response (TPR) for social studies topics. As a long run babysitter of children from Kindergarten to High School, I've encouraged the learning process of History and Geography through one on one work, topic reviews and classic flash card exercises.

The typical process with a new student of mine consists of, homework and previous test review to identify gaps in information and mistakes. I believe students should understand that history is not linear and everything is effected by everything. In regards to Government and Geography, relatability and familiarity are essential to comprehend the topics.
