About Laura
I enjoy helping students understand history better and remember important names and dates. I see history as a real-life storybook. I have always had fun learning history, and I want to make it fun and meaningful for other people.
I love history! It is such a compelling subject, like a real-life story, sometimes an adventure story, at other times a horror story or princess tale. Its a subject with so much application to real life hat people often miss. The past can seem distant, but the more you study history, the more you will see that people from one age to the next are mostly the same.
I graduated second in my high school class in 2019 and now I'm a junior studying history, art history, and political science at college. I got a 4 on the US and European AP History exams and a 5 on the AP Language and Composition exam. I'm good at explaining complex concepts to people, especially when itts a topic I really enjoy!
