About Amanda
Having a passion to follow the knowledge of history is the best way to keep people engaged and to allow knowledge growth is a philosophy I follow
When a spark in a person eyes once they have that understanding and grasp of the topic appears, it is an unmeasurable sense of pride for that person! I love assisting in that success.
I was a substitute teacher for a year in Alaska, have been tutoring since high school, and hold a BA in History.

I like to have a discussion about what a student knows about the subject and the best way they learn to then tailor my approach to have a successful tutoring relationship. From there, we work together to ensure a retention and understanding of the subject they are learning.
