About Lyn
How did [blank] get this way?
This is a question I am always asking myself and finding the answer is a satisfying experience for me.
Knowing how something came to be helps us understand the changes or lackthereof in systems that exist today.
I've always prided myself on being approachable by my academic peers and make sure I set time aside to answer their questions. This has not only helped me become a reliable source of academic assistance for many people, but explaining such concepts to people also helps me deepen my understanding of the topics I have passion for.
I earned my Associate's Degree in Social and Behavioral Sciences from Santa Monica College in Santa Monica, CA in 2020.
I look forward to hearing from you and any questions you have.
The thing that I most enjoy about what I do is sharing my passion with others. When you learn from someone who is passionate about the work they do it really helps you learn.
For me, teaching has always been a way to help me learn. Sometimes I'll get questions from my peers that I had never thought of. Teaching helps me deepen my understanding of the subjects I'm passionate in.
While working towards my Associate's Degree I primarily focused on United States history and government.

The first thing I do is get to know my peers. What are their intrests and academic strengths and weaknesses. This helps me relate the subject material to things that interest them in a way that they can understand.
Find someone who you think is relateable. Just knowing about a subject isn't all there is to learning and certainly not everything about teaching. Who do you think is a good fit for you on a personal and academic level?
