About Kaleb
I am in the middle of my fourth year teaching. I have taught both AP and general World History, US History, as well as Criminology. I have a unique approach to teaching because I focus my approach around a people's perspective. Instead of boring lectures my classes learn in a hands on way that helps you see the connections between the past and today all while learning the necessary critical thinking and analytical skills you need to succeed. I have my teacher's certification and recently finished my Master's in Social Science Education.

Initially, I like to take the time to get to know a new student. That way I can tailor my approach to however they learn the best. My number one priority is building a sense of trust with my students. Once we have a strong foundation, I like to begin by getting to the root issue that causes them to struggle. Once we see that root issue we can work on teaching them the tools that will help them going forward.
