About Geoffrey
My name is Geoffrey Uhal and I am an historian and reconstructive archaeologist. I am ABD for a PhD in history and possess graduate degrees in history and public administration. I have extensive experience teaching children and adults in various fields across media and have modeled respective teaching methods for both. Graduate transcripts, example curricula, and teaching philosophical principles are available upon request.
Curricula will be established with participation of the learner (and/or parents), with clear learning goals established. Adult learners will be taught in accordance with Bloom's Taxonomic Model of Adult Learning, focusing on contextualizing new information with personally relevant experience.
The focus of this formalized classical education is on reading comprehension, historical awareness, procedural investigation, and most importantly critical thinking skills. It will also provide insight into governance, civic engagement, prioritizing deliberate thinking, and the historical precedents of modern global politics.
Particular class tutoring subjects include:
Introduction to Ancient Philosophy
Introduction to Modern Philosophy
Introduction to Ancient History
Introduction to Modern History
Introduction to Ancient Warfare
Introduction to Modern Warfare
Introduction to Rhetoric and Oration
Introduction to Modern Worldviews
Introduction to Ancient Government Systems
Introduction to American Government
Introduction to Research Methods
Introduction to Reasoning Skills
In addition, there are advanced courses for each of the above subjects, according to the needs and wants of the learner.
If you desire that you or your child become a free and critically thinking civilly engaged person, please consult me for an opportunity to take the extra time and dedicate the extra care to ensure that it happens. The world needs more engagement, empathy, and education. I am here to do my small part in helping fix what I perceive as a decline of civilization, and I am extremely passionate about doing so.

Mr. Uhal, in my professional perspective, is a distinguished figure in the field of war history, strategy, and philosophy. His teachings are not merely academic; they are instrumental in preparing students for the realities of warfare and strategic planning. Opening a window to the intellectually accepted reality that these aspects rule our everyday existence.
His deep understanding of war history, combined with his expertise in philosophy and strategy, provides a comprehensive framework for understanding the complexities of conflict and relationships. This interdisciplinary approach equips students with a robust intellectual toolkit, enabling them to analyze and interpret historical events through various lenses.
Furthermore, his teachings inspire deep analogical philosophical thinking. Students are encouraged to draw parallels between historical events and philosophical concepts, fostering a unique perspective on warfare and strategy. This approach cultivates an environment of intellectual rigor, which is essential in the field of war studies and human behavior altogether.
In conclusion, his contributions to the field are significant. His teachings do not merely enrich the mind; they prepare students for unfathomed realities. His influence on the development of future strategists is profound and indispensable. He provides a broader vision, with challenging complexity and near perfect balance.
Mrs. Sierra, J.D.Geoff is very knowledgeable in many things and in particular, history. He is very informative and can teach you just about anything related to history. He has a very good understanding of a broad range of subjects too and he never stops learning as well.
He is also an excellent boxing instructor and has been doing that for 20 or so years. I have seen him first hand teach boxing along with teaching it to those who have Parkinson's disease to help with their muscle movements.View more recommendations
