About
I have six years of experience in education, working in both classified and certified rolls. I also have experience in general and special education settings. For the past four years, I’ve been teaching high school social studies, supporting both on-level students and those with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs). Currently, I’m a High Incidence Special Education Teacher and am also certified to teach middle school social studies. My teaching approach focuses on finding what works best for each student. While learning the material is important, helping students discover their own learning style can make a huge difference. I love those moments when everything clicks, and students gain confidence in their abilities. I aim to make learning fun, engaging, and a source of confidence for every student I work with.
