About
I have a Bachelor of Arts in history with a minor in political science. I have two graduate degrees: A Master of Arts in history and a PhD in American Studies, with an emphasis on anthropology. I have worked as an historian for over 20 years, and in that time I have taught a number of workshops to a variety of age groups. I really enjoy having one-on-one conversations with students interested in improving their knowledge and skills in history and social science subjects. In addition, I am an experienced researcher and writer who loves to help people craft their essays in order to make them shine. I take a Socratic method approach, which helps students develop critical thinking skills.
