I have 45 years experience founding & performing in one of the most popular cover bands on Long Island and the Tri-State area specializing in Rhythm & Lead Guitar as well as Lead & Harmony Vocal ! (concealed information) & www,Facebook.com ( Full House Band Long Island ) & ( Joe Scollo )

1st access how much knowledge a student has if any at initial lesson then progress from that point by teaching 1-2-3 basic chords & move forward at a pace that the individual is comfortable with and is adept at. Everyone's learning curve and rate of retention is different. I also want to find out what the student realistically wants & expects to get out of the learning process, ie - aspirations to play professionally or as a hobby, relaxation to entertain self or friends & family
All ages, male/female. Beginners & those looking to advance their skills
Be sure that you love & enjoy music and have a legitimate desire to improve your skills. I specialize in teaching students how to play specific songs that they want to learn how to play once we both know it's within your capabilities.
It's not too recent but I performed at Madison Square Garden in Billy Joel's band back in October 1991. That was probably my most notable of many career highlights !
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
As I mentioned before, have a reasonable expectation of what you want to get out of learning how to play guitar. Playing for your own enjoyment, friends & family is an enjoyable, satisfying & relaxing experience ! If you have what it takes to play professionally that will become evedent. Or you may just want to learn enough chords to write songs. We can do that too😊
