About Anthony
Guitarist, Vocalist, and Songwriter. I started playing guitar when I was 15 and started teaching professionally when I was 17. I've had a number of songs placed in TV shows and movies including "Shades of Blue" which appeared in Person of Interest and Snow Fall, and "Why is Love Killing Me" which appeared in the Christmas movie "Santa's Little Helper." In 2004 my cover of The Beatles "Got To Get You Into My Life" was number 1 for 11 out of 13 weeks in Paris, France. I was featured in Guitar World, Guitar Player, and Relix, magazines, as well as the British rock magazine Fireworks, and numerous times in Songwriter's Monthly. In 2014 I was selected by the YouBloom Music Organization in Ireland as one of the top 100 unsigned artists in the world, and was invited to play their three-day music festival that year in Dublin. In addition, I've played with some of my favorite guitar players and musicians including Jeff Carlisi (.38 Special) and Ed King (Lynyrd Skynyrd), with whom I've been fortunate enough to also call my friends. Currently, I run an Eric Clapton Tribute band. :-) (concealed information)
