About Dan
I teach all of the easy tricks of the trade quickly and all music styles and music theory based on what music the student likes to hear. I can also teach online through Zoom or Skype! So you do not have to leave your house. I accept paypal. I am the cheapest and best! $10 for 1/2 hour, $20 for an hour!
I have been teaching for 20 years and I am a musician, singer, songwriter, performer, band leader, recording artist! I have lead and performed with top Pittsburgh Bands for decades! I have a total of 5 newspaper articles written about me and my musicianship with local bands and solo performances.
I like teaching people how to play the guitar/bass because I get joy out of the student enjoying playing the instrument. I also like my fast and quick approach which helps a lot!

Do you have time to practice everyday? I can not magically turn anybody into a musician, but I DO usually get students playing songs in the first few weeks to a month.

Perfect! Dan is an excellent guitarist with a deep knowledge of scales and modes. His passion for the guitar and enthusiasm for teaching made my experience very enjoyable. I now have a much better grasp of the modes after studying with Dan and he was able to identify and correct a problem with my left hand technique. Dan Stockman is a fantastic guitar teacher. He made my guitar lessons fun by quickly teaching me favorite songs that I wanted to learn, but also taught me music theory.
