About Alex
Hey there! I'm Alex Allen, your go-to guitar enthusiast located right here in West Knoxville, TN. Whether you're strumming a guitar for the first time or looking to master the bass, I've got you covered with personalized lessons that hit all the right notes.
I'm 31. I started playing bass in 2004. My foundations come from taking bass lessons at a local music shop for 4 years. I also began playing guitar in 2004. I I learned by combining knowledge from bass lessons as well as tablature and video tutorials that pre date the existence of YouTube. I also began playing ukulele in in 2016. I am an excellent rhythmist, but a very poor lead player. If you want to learn music, I'm an excellent teacher. If you want to learn how to shred a guitar or play crazy funk slap bass, I would recommend a different teacher
