About Kelby
Kelby has a background in jazz and classical guitar playing, but most enjoys playing rock, rap, and even electronic music on guitar. He is a songwriter with upwards of ten thousand views and streams online across platforms. Kelby's kind and patient approach with beginners, and undying love for music make him an excellent teacher. He also has a basis in instructional design methodology to appeal to different learning styles.

I begin with a discovery process that helps us clarify the motivation for taking lessons. Starting with "why" helps ensure that the student will practice and sustain learning. Then, we clarify some high-level goals for our engagement together. This will help us measure progress and track our success.
