About Winston
I break down guitar in a simple, easy to understand method, starting with open chords and working all the way up to guitar soloing. I've been playing guitar for 16 years as well as other instruments and have recently got a knack for teaching.
I love watching people have those eureka moments, when the light bulb goes off and it all clicks.
I was teaching a drummer friend of mine some guitar techniques and realized I quite enjoy it.
I have 16 years of guitar playing experience, the first 3 being taught and the last 13 being self-taught.

I start out with basic, open chords as well as the alternating bass strings for country/bluegrass music. I start with finger-picking and then slowly work into using a pick.
I have worked with primarily teenagers, but a few younger kids here and there.
Make sure to ask questions if you have them! Don't be overwhelmed, it's just music!
