I've been working with Jon four about four years now and, without fail, our lessons have managed to be a source of entertainment for me; whether we're spending the first ten minutes discussing conspiracy theories, comedians and… life, or we jump right into learning whatever Mayday Parade or All Time Low song I'm into now.
When our lessons first started, I was amazed by Jon's ability to chart music by ear (still am, actually), but he was convinced that I could develop the skill too. While I haven't quite reached that level yet, he's still managing to make a musician out of me, despite my skepticism. Sneakily slipping in information about intervals, while I struggle through another barre chord. And taking in stride my grumbling about said chords so that, two years later, he can say "remember how much trouble you used to have with that one? You haven't complained in awhile." (Gloating, even in your unassuming way, is not cool, Jon!:)

So, all of that to say, I love my lessons with Jon and am fairly certain you will too.
