About Chris
I’m an Ecuadorian musician with experience performing, composing, and studying a wide range of musical styles. Working across different genres has shaped the way I understand music: not as something fixed, but as something alive—something that moves people, tells stories, and creates connection.
When you work with me, you’ll notice that I focus strongly on listening and detail. Music becomes powerful when we understand why certain sounds move us, what catches our attention, and how those elements work together. Once you understand that, music stops feeling abstract and becomes a clear language you can use to communicate ideas and emotions.
I don’t believe in a single method for everyone. Every student has a different background, learning pace, and goal—whether it’s technique, creativity, theory, composition, or confidence. My job is to adapt the methodology to you, not the other way around. Together, we’ll identify what you need most and build a focused, practical path that helps you grow efficiently and musically.
I do an excellent job as a teacher because I combine technical knowledge, musical sensitivity, and flexibility. I care deeply about helping students develop their own voice, not just copying others. My goal is for you to understand music more deeply, enjoy the process, and gain the tools to express yourself clearly and honestly through sound.
