About Josh
My teaching approach:
I'm a professional guitarist, bassist and educator with over ten years teaching experience and a music degree from NYU. My approach emphasizes playing the songs you love so you are constantly inspired, and getting the necessary ear training under your belt so you can easily figure them out yourself! We'll cover all the fundamentals you need to become the musician you want to be. Any and all styles welcome for guitar and bass--rock, jazz, blues, funk, soul/R&B, fingerpicking, acoustic, slap bass, you name it. My house or yours, package rates are available.
My guitar lessons take place in:

Guidance In Equipment Selection, Recording and Production, Song Writing, Scales and Exercises, Music Theory, Reading Music, Jamming Skills, Improvisation, Performance, Fingerstyle, Rhythm guitar, Lead guitar.
