About Haley
I have been teaching music for 7 years, with over 12 years of musical experience. I am graduated from Point Loma Nazarene University, with a Chapel Music internship. I have taught students of all ages, from 3 to 65, and each student brought their own sets of accomplishements and challenges that we were able to take on together!
I love helping students learn how to love music and not simply be a "good" musician. I want my students to enjoy what they are learning and find their niche within music.
In high school, my music teacher always told me I should start teaching any and all who had a desire to learn, and because of his encouragement I started my own business. My sister was a music teacher and she encouraged me as well!

I love to get to know the student, understand what type of things they enjoy so I can best interact and work with them! I want to know their favorite songs, if they like theatre, what movies they like, all just to be able to help teach them music they enjoy!
I've worked with all types, from three year olds learning the sounds and mechanics of keyboards, to 65 year olds wanting to be able to help their church choir follow music better. The majority of my students have been young teens, but I love working with anyone who has a desire to learn!

Details
$40 an hour, or $20 for each 30 minutes! Most lessons are 45 minutes, but I usually recommend starting with 30 minutes, and see from there if a 45 minute would be best!
