About Joyce
Experienced(28 years) Austin tenured musician specializing in live performing is offering lessons to beginners and kids ages 7 and up.
(I will only consider kids younger than 7 on a case-by-basis, as attention spans vary and I want your child to be ready to learn).
An important message to students: I will not teach you how to, “preform.” I will teach you how to entertain. When you seek to entertain rather than preform, that is what creates your fan base, and that is keeps them coming back for you!
While I do focus on proper breath control, body posture, enunciation, and mouth placement as the basics for my new singers, I also incorporate something called, the “Singer’s Diet,” or, “Vocalist’s Diet,” and singer/vocalist lifestyle.
Because the voice is an instrument within our body rather than outside(like a guitar), there is a certain diet and lifestyle suggestions to follow in order to achieve and maintain optimum vocal cord health.
Guitar:
I am also offering acoustic guitar lessons to beginners and kids(7+) as well.
