About Luis Francisco
My teaching experience is broad, and started when I was a student in college. Up to this date my studio has been very successful privately and as a college professor. My fluent domain of both English and Spanish allows me to work well with international students.

The first lesson is free. During this lesson we will explore certain aspects of the guitar and music in order to build an understanding of goals, expectations, student-teacher communication, procedures and logistics. My teaching style is based on adapting and personalizing the lesson in order to meet the level and needs of each student.
Young (10-21)
Adult (21-70)
Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced.
Undergrad college, Grad college.
Always be open to suggestions and concepts coming from an experienced educator. At the same time, be very honest and communicate your needs or concerns during/before/after your lesson has taken place. Assertiveness and good communication is key for a successful collaboration between a teacher and a student.
Playing with my Violin and Guitar duet (Venegas Duo) for the Kansas City Guitar Society allowed us to bring our music to an audience craving for fresh, modern and diverse music. It was very well received and we cannot wait to go back to perform for them.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Any question is valid and relevant, and is welcome at any time, as long as it is clear, respectful and mindful. Also, sometimes we know the answers to our own questions but we cannot seem to find an answer because of our lack of attention, impatience or feeling overwhelmed. Always take a minute to think things through and even let a day pass before re-thinking a question.
