About Wayne
I am an actively gigging lead guitarist that plays shows all over Houston. I specificalize in Rock, Blues, Country and Metal guitar and music theory.
I first began teaching guitar and music theory over 12 years ago and have worked at multiple music schools around Houston and Cypress.
If you are looking to develop your skills on guitar to a level that is worthy of live performance, than I am your guy.
I got started teaching when my current guitar teacher at the time told me about an opening at a music school in Cypress, Texas. He recommended me to the school and they hired me on the spot. It was a great learning experience for me teaching at such a young age and has only benifited my guitar playing.
I have been a gigging lead guitar player for the last several years and have played all over Texas, while also having taught at several music schools in the Houston, Cypress and Katy area.

I start by accessing my student's current skills sets and then nailing down exactly what their goals are. From there I create a custom curriculum that not only challenges their current skill set but also motivates creativity.
I have worked with all kinds of students and genre preferences ranging from age 8 to above the age of 50.
