About Ana
Hi! I am very excited to teach beginning to intermediate piano students! I began playing piano when I was 5 years old and I haven't stopped since. I am an elementary music teacher during the day and I work as a professional keyboard player with a band! I graduated from the University of Miami. Go Canes! I have taught piano on and off for over 25 years!
I was living in New Jersey and my neighbors wanted to take piano lessons. I had the influence of an amazing piano teacher growing up and I knew I could inspire students and make a difference in their lives
I studied classical piano for 11 years and I have learned has styles throughout my career. I have a music education degree and I am very comfortable teaching all ages

I sit down with them and do a short evaluation to determine where they are at. With older students, I try to find what they enjoy musically and tie it in to lessons.
I have worked with beginning to intermediate as well as older beginners and teens that want to play jazz and pop stylings
Make sure there is good chemistry between you and your teacher This makes a huge difference!
