About Kevin
Hi, I’m Kevin a lifelong guitarist, performer, and teacher with a passion for helping students become confident, expressive musicians. Whether you’re picking up a guitar for the first time or looking to level up your playing, my goal is to make lessons encouraging, practical, and genuinely fun.
My background combines years of live performance, songwriting, flatpicking, acoustic guitar, and vocal accompaniment. I specialize in helping students develop real-world musical skills not just memorizing exercises, but learning how to actually play songs, improve timing, build confidence, and develop their own sound.
Lessons with me are relaxed, patient, and tailored to your goals. Some students want to strum around a campfire, some want to sing and accompany themselves, and others want to dive deep into bluegrass flatpicking, lead guitar, improvisation, or technique. I meet students where they are and create a plan that keeps them motivated while steadily improving.
Students can expect:

* Help with rhythm, timing, tone, ear training, and musicality
