About Tyler
I am a 27 year old guitarist and instructor who has 19 years of experience. I could not imagine my life without being able to play guitar at this point. I love playing as much as I did when I first started at age 8 and I love being able to pass on my knowledge to othe players, no matter their skill level. I truly believe that any student willing to learn is entitled to outstanding leadership and instruction.
5 years of lessons from a music professor named Jamey Smith.
Studied countless books on music theory and composition.

At first, I like to get to know my student and understand their current skill level and overall musical goals. I also like to talk to them about their influences and what first inspired them to pick up a guitar. From there, I am able to determine the students needs and what direction is appropriate for them.
