About JAY
Have been a performer for almost four decades now, having toured the country while sharing stages with legendary acts from Percy Sledge to In This Moment.... and a musician even longer... Have much experience guitar playing in small environments and on big stages. Passing knowledge to anyone who desires it.
I love what I do! I have met some great people and had fantastic experiences on my musician journey, but watching a student develop over time into a musician gives me a lot of satisfaction. Introducing someone to the world of music or helping them along THEIR journey is a true pleasure and an honor!
I have mentored other players, and some have gone on to tour the world and play on major labels. I truly believe in proper guidance.....not just teaching mindless guitar licks. Are you ready for you journey?

First we talk about your goals for being a player, and turn you in the direction you need to go. We'll determine your level of playing, whether beginner or intermediate, and get you playing. It needs to be fun! You'll be given weekly assignments so you have small goals to work for. Before you know it, your playing will evolve!
