Austin is an excellent teacher. My 5 year old loves practicing piano with him and is always so excited to go to class. Austin really does a fantastic job of keeping him engaged and interested. He made a simple version of my son's favorite Star Wars song so that he could learn to play it. This was awesome for us because my son's love of Star Wars and its music is what made him want to learn to play the piano. Being a beginner and already being able to play his favorite song is a huge confidence booster for him and it makes practicing piano so much fun. That's one of the things we love about Austin as a teacher; he goes above and beyond for his students and he makes learning super fun!

Austin is an inspiration! As an adult student, I take lessons for the pure joy of playing and Austin taps into that passion. He is an accomplished musician and a knowledgeable and gifted instructor. He is committed to teaching correct technique, music theory and encouraging my own creativity and music interests. In only a few short months, I am so pleased with the progress that I have made. Austin’s a delight to be around and his passion for music is infectious! His breadth and depth of experience across multiple instruments and musical genres makes him an incredibly versatile teacher. Loys of people can teach you to play an instrument, but only a few can teach you MUSIC, and Austin is one of those few!

I was always given very complicated theory and lessons as to the foundations of pitch and notes.. and in turn I would easily get discouraged and eventually discontinue my learning progression in fear of being inadequate.
However, when taking theory with Austin I felt not only VERY encouraged but excited to learn and retain the information! AMAZING!

Austin is a wonderful teacher for my 2 grandchildren. They are so sad when we have to cancel. He is so encouraging; they both want to do their best. His method of teaching is fun for them and they’re anxious to learn more every week. I am over the top pleased🥰

We have had 2 lessons with Austin in our home. My son is not always the easiest to work with....that being said, Austin has worked beautifully with him. We look forward to more lessons to come. Austin has been kind, positive, easy to communicate with, and patient.
