About Roberta

I have postgraduate work in voice, piano and organ. I have a bachelors degree in music, 35 years experience in teaching all ages and all capabilities. I was a pipe organist for 20 years. And have been playing accordion, guitar and ukulele for many years.

I have two pianos and an Allen digital organ in my studio

I have a separate waiting room for parents nearby and a ramp for handicapped students. I can furnish references upon request. Please look up Westmorland music makers on Facebook.

I have a true passion for music, I have performed with large and small ensembles conducted semi professional choirs, volunteer choirs.

One of my students said, “I never thought I’d play like this.”

I enjoy seeing others enjoy music and meet their goals. There is no greater gratification when a student is challenged and then accomplishes the goal. Music has provided me so much joy, I enjoy seeing others receive the same joy.

10 years of Music experience as being a student, accompanist, and performer prior to college.

Major in music education from Duquesne university. Key concentration: voice, piano,organ. Postgraduate work in Organ voice and piano. 30 years of teaching experience. I have also studied guitar and accordion and I am currently teaching both

I have directed several large semi professional choirs and I’m comfortable teaching all age groups. I also have a Masters in social work and have practice clinical social work for more than 20 years.
