About Sam
I have been playing guitar for over 10 years and playing music in general for 20 years. I have a music minor from Boston College that focused heavily on music theory and am also a professional musician not only performing, but also writing my own music.

I always like to start off with a new student with an initial hour long intake lesson. Not only does it help me get a good sense of a students musical abilities and sensibilites, but I find that teacher and student getting to know each other a bit is helpful in forming teaching strategies that will best help the student to grow.
I have worked with a range from absolute beginners to more seasoned players who have either self-taught until now or had some lessons on and off throughout their playing.

Details
An initial intake lesson is $40 but depending on the students goals and how long they're looking each lesson to be, lesson cost may vary slightly. Hour long lessons will never cost more than $50 and are almost always less than that.
