About Antoine
I chose music in the first place because of the relationship I had with my childhood teacher. I believe that music lessons are about more than just the music, they are also about building a strong personal relationship between teacher and student.
I've been teaching for more than 10 years now. I love that it is a real exchange between the teacher and the student. I have to say I don't see that as "work" because I really enjoy to teach.
As student in switzerland I used to substituted my teacher at the "Montreux Jazz School of music."
I learned 3 different instuments Violin, french horn, and guitar. I've got a french degree in the 2 first instruments and a masters in jazz guitar performence of the Queens College of New york

I used to worked with people from 7-65 years old.

My daughter studied guitar with Antoine in NYC for 2 years. He taught in our home on the upper east side, always arriving promptly and with great energy (especially considering he always came by bike!) My daughter really enjoyed his enthusiasm and easy personality, and felt like he came prepared with material she was interested in. His English is not perfect (he is a French native), so sometimes explanations didn't come across so clearly the first time, yet he was able to demonstrate very well on the guitar.
