Essentially show him how to handle the guitar, how to use a tuner. Start of with basic picking exercises via blues scale as well as basic open chord progressions ultimately aiming the student to rely on the guitar for the good times and the bad. The sky is the limit for the student once he or she makes up there mind. I would also implement good practice techniques so he or she may write there own future in music. Music is a major part of life..So please start practicing as I should as well because the guitar is my passion.
