Jon is an excellent guitarist. He has a solid grasp of music theory and can explain it very well to a beginning player, intermediate player or advanced player. His teaching style is one of the best. He is caring and wants to see each student succeed at learning the guitar. I’ve had several guitar teachers and Jon is absolutely my favorite because he teaches to my level and doesn’t get off track. He constantly and gently encourages. I highly recommend Jon for teaching any level of guitar you wish to learn! You have to practice but you will see results and become more competent in your ability to play!

Hello, my name is Marissa Estrada!
I’m a current student and I’ve been having such a fun experience these past few months. I’ve gained knowledge and skills during my guitar lessons with Jon. I’m getting to learn how to play my favorite songs, and be comfortable with my acoustic guitar.
I like how he is very attentive and welcoming with what type of music I like. I also enjoy the knowledge he shares about guitar and how he’s compassionate about it. Overall, I would recommend beginners and active guitarists to attend guitar lessons with Jon (you’ll have so much fun!).

Jon is a great teacher. He takes the time to understand where you are in your learning process and comes up with great solutions to help you improve. After several other guitar instructor attempts, Jon realized where I was in my guitar playing and started me off where I needed to be.
