About Jason

Hi! My name is Jason Aeschliman. I am a multi-instrumentalist, producer, audio engineer, cinematographer, and owner of New Sound Studio. I don't teach a "one size fits all" approach to music, I strive to make sure that each students individual needs are being meet. Music is not meant to be taught, but to be discovered as a creative expression. My goal is to assist a student in discovering their unique expression in music! Over the years, I have had the privilege of working with amazing top musicians and producers in the CCM world. But also have worked with a wide variety of genres. Not only have I logged thousands of hours recording and mixing in the studio, but I also enjoy running live sound, and performing on stage/touring.

I love watching people learn and discover concepts! It’s very fulfilling to teach and help people find joy in music. Not only do I teach Keys, Guitar and Drums, but I also run a production studio where I record, mix, and master professional records as well as shoot music videos and score music for Film and TV.

I started teaching in my mid teens teaching family friends and realized I really enjoyed it. So from then on out it's always been a part time thing for me I just cant give up cause I love it!

About the lesson

I have worked with a wide age range of students from ages 6 to 65yrs old! So yes I'm comfortable with both kids and adults. I’ve also taught people who are pursuing music as a career, but also just for a casual hobbyist and everything in-between.

Find a teaching who is doing what you want to do stylistically and career wise. A teacher can make or break your musical career…it’s so important to find a like minded teacher to guide you! If that teacher is me great, if that’s someone else that’s great as well, I want the best for you!

I recently wrote music for an Amazon Prime show, that is a recent exciting event for me!

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Make sure you know what you want to get out of lessons. The skills and approch to being a casual player, studio musician and a touring artist are all vastly different...I have done all three and they definitely require different skill sets. So be clear up front on your intentions!

Yes, I do have a standard pricing system! I charge 25$ for 30min lessons and 35$ for 45min lessons. Reach out if you have any questions!
