About Sean

I teach because I love the game of golf. My main focus is helping others love it more than they do today. That typically comes through lowering scores or improving ball flight. While some players need to change their swing, I work to make the natrual golf swing for each player work better. Most players don't have the time to partice enough to make major changes so i strive to help eveyone create their own swing which produces consistent results.

I am a PGA member, have taught for nearly a decade in both group and private lessons. I specialize in beginners and junior golfers but love to work with advanced players as well. I teach roughly 1000 lessons per year with the membership at my club in addition to non-members. I focus on drills which do not require a golf ball and building a feel for each player they can rely on. I put a lot of effort into speaking a langauge which my students understand and explain fundamentals in multiple ways until the student really grasps concepts.

I am PGA certified. I have coached PGA Jr League teams, High School teams (going to state this year!), I give lessons and clinics each year to both my members and non-members.

Ask questions:

1. what do you do

2. childhood activities

3. injuries

4. goals

5. how do you learn best

Then I watch some swings and start to diagnose causes instead of symptoms.

We then work on a few drills (I typically show 4 or 5 and we settle on 2 that the student likes).

Then I want to see videos over the next couple of weeks so we can refine drills and hone in the feeling they are searching for.
