About Dr larry

I teach the easiest way to learn golf. Simple Swing. I am a certified golf instructor of this method but I also analyze your current golf swing faults..Stop being frustrated and have more fun. I am an easy going instructor who can have you hitting well and straight in no time. My teaching methods usually requires less practice. If you are struggling with your game or a beginner this is a good approach for you. Instruction can also includes online video reinforcement. I enjoy watching students become consistent golfers.

I help students become good golfers who can problem solve their own faults without a ton of lessons. I love golf and passing on instruction that will make the golf game fun.

I have been a life long educator. I am also trained in learning and psychological techniques as they relate to golf. I am also a Certified Simple Swing Instructor. I

have a PhD in clinical pyschology, health, education and sports instruction.

Background in education, pyschology, and teaching. I am also certified in the method I teach.

About the lesson

One and one-half hour lessons to get the fundamentals down. Discussion on and off the range year long. I will also join a student on the golf course for a slight upcharge.

Beginners through intermediate level. However I will work with advanced players having difficulty in their swing. Often advanced players have a problem or two which need to be identified.

Good players are not always good teachers. Learn basic fundamentals first then you will have more fun and play better. Unlike many techniques Simple Swing has a method that you can repeat over and over. You can use this method with any club in the bag.

Coaching a girls team with the techniques I use at the driving range. Many successes with individual lessons. Learning should be progressive. Recently shot my third hole-in-one.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
1. Are you a good teacher or just a player that teaches golf?

2. Do you demonstrate components of the swing before you have the student practice?

3. Are you a patient instructor or do you get frustrated with an student for not getting a concept right away?

4. Do you give handouts or just expect the student to remember everything?I provide a handout when asked.

5. Do you really care about the students progress?

6. Can a student call you without charge to ask questions?

7. Do you have positive reviews?

8. Are you a friendly instructor that respects a student as a person?

These are some of the questions I would ask

Perfect! Dr. Larry is very patient and kind. He explains things well with some dad jokes type of humor in the mix, which I appreciated. It was my first lesson and it completely made a difference. His prices are very reasonable and he's generally a nice guy to spend time with. Definitely recommend him as an instructor.

Perfect! I have had 3 lessons with Dr. Larry now and he is the best golf teacher I've had. He is the first person to get me to understand what 'square' feels like, which has been a big help. I enjoy working with him and I truly feel he cares about my development. I will be continuing with my lessons and am excited for what awaits. He can help you, no matter your ability. I highly recommend Dr. Larry.

Perfect! Larry is very personable and a great guy. Larry is a great listener and let me describe my issues and then watched what I was doing wrong. I was thinking of quitting the game just a month ago. After my first lesson with Larry I shot a 45 in my league the following Tuesday. I then shot 42 the following week.

Larry identified 4 key issues and has helped with the corrections and I am back on track to shoot low 40's.

I recommend Larry because he is easy to work with and will not try to reinvent your whole swing.

I will probably play a few rounds and go back for a tune up.

Great lessons!
